Ski Trips 2025

This year HVSC is focusing on Ikon-affiliated resorts, with 2 Western trips and 2 Eastern trips to areas honoring the Ikon pass. Except for Lake Placid and Smuggler’s Notch trips, all planned ski trips honor the Ikon pass. Club members planning to ski at more than one Ikon area should consider an Ikon pass. See bottom of this page.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum cancellation penalty is $100. Cancellation requests must be in writing and will take effect the date they are received by the trip leader. Penalties vary from trip to trip. Anyone who cancels from a trip will be assessed penalties as per our contract with the vendor. Whatever the club loses, the person who cancels will lose plus the $100 cancellation penalty. However, the penalty will not exceed the total cost of the trip. Refunds will not be issued until after the final accounting of the trip.
Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended for all trips.

Ikon Pass or EPIC Pass
Both 2025 fly-away trips honor the Ikon Pass as do two of our drive-to trips. Buying one of the various Ikon Passes provides lift access on our Western trips as well as at the many Eastern ski areas affiliated with Ikon.

Club members planning to register for more than one trip to Ikon resorts should consider purchasing an Ikon season pass. To determine the most appropriate pass, visit: https://www.ikonpass.com/en/compare-passes. Club-member-rate Ikon passes are available through our Members Only page using the password on the back of your membership card.
HVSC’s 2024 fly-away trips used the EPIC Pass. For 2026, HVSC will again explore fly-away ski resorts that are part of the EPIC Pass system.
