Hudson Valley ShredVets is a veterans peer support group. Veteran run and only for veterans. ShredVets provides veterans free participation in skiing and snowboarding at local ski areas, and facilitates newcomers to the sport with free equipment and instruction. Veterans in the program ski, ride and learn with fellow veterans, enjoying the outdoors and healthy activity during a time of year that can be otherwise isolating and challenging for veterans. ShredVets begins its 4th year of operation this winter with over 90 enrolled veterans. Interested vets are encouraged to contact ShredVets to participate. Steve Massee, Founder, H.V.
