Kayak on The Great Swamp from Patterson to Brewster, about 6 miles. Launch 10am, but be there at least by 9am since we need to shuttle cars between start & finish. Carpooling details still TBD - contact Yvonne. Be aware - this will be a long day, we'll likely eat at the Carriage House when we've finished. Life vest mandatory, bring snacks & water. Our annual Picnic meeting will be on Sunday June 28 from 2-5pm at the American Legion pavilion. Food will be provided. Cash bar available. (Liquor laws require all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the American Legion's bar. Absolutely NO outside alcohol!) Free for members. $10 Fee for Guests. We plan to take 2027 Mt Bachelor & Banff trip registrations at the Picnic. Those trips are likely to sell out, so plan to attend the Picnic & sign up! Note that our new membership year starts June 1. If you haven't renewed online yet, plan to join HVSC at the Picnic. |
