Trailsweepers Picnic

Kingston Point Beach 102-144 Delaware Ave, Kingston, NY, United States

Our sister club, the Trailsweepers, is having its annual summer meeting/picnic at Kingston Point Beach on Tuesday, August 12 and would like to invite HVSC. In addition, they  are "throwing down the gauntlet" for a cornhole tournament earlier in the day.  The schedule will be as follows: Kayak paddle at Noon Cornhole tournament at 2 PM Picnic at 5.   Trailsweepers normally supplies burgers & dogs and participants bring their own beverages and a side dish and/or dessert to share.   If you are interested in attending please contact Jeff Huth at  Jeff_Huth@hotmail.com

Kayak – Long Lake, Adirondacks

September paddles will involve a day paddle and  the option of an overnight experience. Sunday Sept 7th - Long Lake in the Adirondacks   Some people will stay at Sandy Point cabins (non paddlers welcome) and paddle from there. Others will kayak camp at Long Lake and paddle with those staying at Sandy Point.     More details, contact Yvonne Baker

Kayak – Lake George

September paddles involve a day paddle and the option of an overnight experience. Friday Sept 26th paddle will be in Lake George above the narrows launching from Huletts Landing Marina camping Friday and Saturday. Others can come and do a day paddle and return home.
