    September paddles will involve a day paddle and  the option of an overnight experience. Sunday Sept 7th - Long Lake in the Adirondacks   Some people will stay at Sandy Point cabins (non paddlers welcome) and paddle from there.     TGIF "Race Training" at Margaritas in 9 Mall Plaza, Wappingers Falls between Aldi & Kohl's  (originally scheduled for La Puerta Azul which has since closed) 

  • Start of Ski Season dinner dance

    HVSC & Trailsweepers will again kick off the ski season with a dinner/dance on November 22, 2025, at Stonehedge restaurant in West Park, NY. 6pm cocktail hour (cash bar) 3 course dinner (soup, choice of three entrees and dessert with coffee & tea) DJ will provide the dance tunes. Signups will begin in October. The cost is $50 each HVSC member, $55 for non-member guests. Carpooling - There are club members who would like to attend but decline because they are not comfortable driving at night. HVSC will be soliciting volunteers to give rides to these non-night-driving members. The evening’s enjoyment will certainly be enhanced by their presence.
