Launch at Dutchman's Landing Park in Catskill, leave at 10am, destination Ramshorn Preserve. Be there at least a half hour before launch. If Ramshorn Creek is accessible (tidal dependent) we will do an optional short hike from the creeks end to an observation tower/building which scans the 436 areas of the tidal marsh….
Paddle from Kingston Point Beach followed by a Trailsweepers picnic (which kayakers are more than welcome to attend). Bring a dish to share and BYOB. Hamburgs and hot dogs will be provided. September paddles involve a day paddle and the option of an overnight experience. Sept 18-20th paddle will be in Lake George above the narrows launching from Huletts Landing Marina camping Friday and Saturday. Others can come and do a day paddle and return home.
