September paddles will involve a day paddle and  the option of an overnight experience. Sunday Sept 7th - Long Lake in the Adirondacks   Some people will stay at Sandy Point cabins (non paddlers welcome) and paddle from there. Others will kayak camp at Long Lake and paddle with those staying at Sandy Point.     More details, contact Yvonne Baker

Kayak on The Great Swamp from Patterson to Brewster, about 6 miles. Launch 10am, but be there at least by 9am since we need to shuttle cars between start & finish.  Carpooling details still TBD - contact Yvonne.  Be aware - this will be a long day, we'll likely eat at the Carriage House when we've finished. Life vest mandatory, bring snacks & water. Launch at Dutchman's Landing Park in Catskill, leave at 10am, destination Ramshorn Preserve. Be there at least a half hour before launch. Followed by optional hike to observatory which overlooks the estuary.
