Ski Trips 2026

This year HVSC is focusing on Epic-affiliated resorts, with 2 Western trips and 2 Eastern trips to areas honoring the Epic Pass. Except for Gore Mountain trip, all planned ski trips honor the Epic Pass. Club members planning to ski at more than one Epic-affiliated area should consider an Epic Pass. See bottom of this page.

Gore Mtn, NY January 12-16, 2026

We have penciled in January 12-16 on HVSC’s calendar for a trip to Gore Mountain. But, arrangements have not been finalized for this trip. We believe it will be like past trips with 3-4 nights lodging in Lake George, and drive to the ski area.
Gore does NOT honor the Epic Pass. We will look to obtain lift tickets for this trip, or participants can use NY Ski3 Pass.

Jay Brenner will be the Trip Leader.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum cancellation penalty is $100. Cancellation requests must be in writing and will take effect the date they are received by the trip leader. Penalties vary from trip to trip. Anyone who cancels from a trip will be assessed penalties as per our contract with the vendor. Whatever the club loses, the person who cancels will lose plus the $100 cancellation penalty. However, the penalty will not exceed the total cost of the trip. Refunds will not be issued until after the final accounting of the trip.
Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended for all trips.

Epic Pass or Ikon Pass
Both 2026 fly-away trips honor the Epic Pass as do two of our drive-to trips. Buying one of the various Epic Passes provides lift access on our Western trips as well as at the many Eastern ski areas affiliated with Epic. If you’re joining one of our fly-away trips, see Ski Pass Purchase page for details on purchasing a ski pass through HVSC. Purchase before May 26 for best prices.

HVSC’s 2025 fly-away trips used the Ikon pass. For 2027, HVSC will again explore fly-away ski resorts that are part of the Ikon pass system.
