  • Rail Trail Cleanup

    Rt.55 Rail Trail Old Manchester Road, Poughkeepsie, ny, United States

    Join us walking HVSC's "adopted" section between Old Manchester Road (H.G. Page) and Titusville Road (Gold's Gym), for our periodic clean up of any trailside trash. Meet 9:30am sharp at the Rail Trail parking lot behind H.G. Page (the lot closest to the Route 55 over-highway bridge). Trash bags and rubber gloves will be provided to all participants.   • Kayak – Great Swamp, Patterson

    Kayak on The Great Swamp from Patterson to Brewster, about 6 miles. Launch 10am, but be there at least by 9am since we need to shuttle cars between start & finish.  Carpooling details still TBD - contact Yvonne.  Be aware - this will be a long day, we'll likely eat at the Carriage House when we've finished. Life vest mandatory, bring snacks & water.
