Ski Trips 2021-2022

2022 HVSC Western Ski Trips
Next winter’s fly-away ski trips will be to Crested Butte and Whistler/Blackcomb.

Crested Butte, Colorado, January 29 – February 5, $2008-$2041 (room dependent)
Double occupancy at Grand Lodge Crested Butte in either King Suite or Emmons Studio rooms.
An authentic Western ski town (no traffic lights) boasts a ski area known for challenging Expert terrain, yet 50% of the trails are rated Intermediate or Advanced.

Whistler/Blackcomb, British Columbia, February 26 – March 5, $1726
Double Occupancy at Hotel Listler in Queen/Queen rooms.
The largest ski resort in North America.  Long a favorite HVSC destination, it’s time to return (our last visit was February 2016).  Great price due to favorable Canadian exchange rate.

Each hotel is near the lifts; the rooms have mini-refrigerators.  Listed prices are for 7 nights double occupancy, and include bus transportation from Hudson Valley to airport, airfare, bus to ski resort, and 5 day ski pass.  A 6th day of skiing and single room occupancy are available at extra charge.

EPIC Pass Options
Both Crested Butte and Whistler/Blackcomb are EPIC Pass destinations.
The package price for each trip includes a 5-day EPIC Day Pass good for that area.
A 6th day may be added for either resort.

An alternative is to purchase an EPIC Local Pass, which gives unlimited access to Crested Butte and up to 10 days at Whistler/Blackcomb. The Local Pass also gives unlimited access to Hunter, Mt. Snow and many other areas.
Note, the EPIC Local Pass is different than the EPIC Northeast Midweek Pass which offers non-holiday weekday access only at Northeast areas.
For specifics see:

Package pricing options allow upgrade to an EPIC Local Pass rather than buy the 5-day pass specific to each of our ski trip weeks.  If you had planned on buying an EPIC Northeast Pass and also plan to go on either of the trips, then the EPIC Local Pass is a good deal. Clearly, if you are considering going on both of our trips, the EPIC Local Pass is a great bargain.
